About
Scott Macniven started his artistic journey in the early 90's when he started creating his own Ninja Turtle comics for his friends and family. He was absolutely hooked and started learning everything he could about comic art.
When He met his wife they both joined their efforts and started creating their own comic books. This is when Scott met with the editors at IDW Publishing and had his first opportunity with a top five publisher doing what he loved, drawing Ninja Turtles.
When the lockdowns started in 2020 Scott pulled back from the comic book industry and decided to focus on his family and take up watercolours and oil painting. Since then his paintings have appeared in galleries and publishing world wide.
His passion for fantasy has led to his artwork being featured in the FASERIP manual EPIC FANTASY, He illustrated the entire ADA LEARNS TO SEW children's book for Angie Scarr, and has created character concept art for comic books, and video games.
His hope is to continue on his fantasy journey and illustrate more whimsical worlds, fantastic creatures, and shape new worlds to explore.
